New Client Consultations

Is a climbing and strength program for you? 
In the consultation, we’ll discuss goals, strengths and weaknesses, and how I can best help you. 
Would a program best suit you? Or just an assessment so you can see your baseline? Through the consultation, we’ll figure out exactly what your needs are and how Ground Up can help achieve your goals.
All consultation fees can be used towards credit in any 6 or 12 program.

Strength Assessment

Have you ever wondered what your strength on a 10mm edge is? The difference between your left and right hand? How many pounds of force you create from a deadlift position?
In the assessment, we will establish your baseline strength for all 3 energy systems. This includes power, strength, and endurance. Specific exercises will be used to gauge finger strength, body tension, body coordination, and efficiency of movement. 
You’ll receive all data post assessment, and 1:1 coaching is available afterwards to discuss goals if you want.
6 and 12 week programs include assessments at the beginning of each  program, as well as the end.

6 Week Program

This is a custom program written for you and your goals. We walk through the entire program with you and all programs include in person coaching for each of the first energy system workouts. These include strength, endurance, and power. During the program you will have a primary and secondary focus each week that will build on your overall goals. 
All 6 and 12 week programs include an assessment at the start to gauge your baseline, as well as at the end to measure your gains and progress.
All programs use an app which will send you your program details, as well as give you the opportunity to record and monitor your progress. You’ll also receive notes and feedback from your coach.

12 Week Program

The 12 week program is geared towards athletes that want a long term training period and the potential for more growth and progress. We build the structure from the 6 week program, which creates a base of strength to work off of. The second part of the program is geared specifically towards your long term goals.
This program also includes an assessment at the start to gauge your baseline, as well as at the end to measure your gains and progress.
All programs use an app which will send you your program details, as well as give you the opportunity to record and monitor your progress. You’ll also receive notes and feedback from your coach.

Movement Coaching

This coaching is in person. We work on climbing more efficiently, and using your body to be more effective on different movement types within the sport of climbing. This could include drills, different techniques, and exercises to work on body coordination.
Is this for me? 
Are you working on a long term project? Are you struggling at the end of a route? Can you learn to be more efficient, so that you reach “flow state” on a climb? These are all things that movement coaching can help with.

1:1 Coaching

This coaching is in person or remote. Wondering how to structure climbing? How to progress your own training? I can help you figure out how to be more effective with the time you have. This can be a chance to discuss any assessment you might have previously done, as well as help you after completing a program. 

Custom Month to Month Coaching

Contact me now to set up month to month coaching. there are two options for all athletes looking to progress and work with a coach on long term goals and projects. you can do a 3+ month commitment for 150$ a month or a non committal monthly contract for 189$. This is fully remote and able to help anyone interested in training.

We believe in the power of sessions, and the flexibility of a program that works for your busy life. We encourage our athletes to continue with each session and not worry that if they miss a day, the program is derailed. Life happens, and our programs are built to adapt, just like we do.
The persistency of completing the program on your time will have the best chances of the results you are targeting. The training you do today will be the base for years to come.
